One of top experiences of my vacation to Hawaii. My best friend and I are avid hikers and skiers in the Dolomites of Italy, my home in Europe. This segway adventure proved to be as thrilling and fun for us both. 
SEGWAY-Kailua, YOU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST!! I simply don't know how I'll ever be able to make a better birthday celebration for my husband. That is the most fun we've had on Oahu since we moved back in September 2008. You were so knowledgeable about the islands. We loved that! Thank you for your kindness and your dedication to ensuring we had an AMAZING time. We... look forward to future adventures with you guys!! Absolutely must do! Missing this would be like going to Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower! Awesome segway adventure plus short hike followed by a beautiful view of the Kailua and Lanikai beaches. Also, walked out on rocks to see Popoia and walked along the beach. Free pictures of everything, snacks, water and much much more! Vai and Lisa are the BEST tour guides!! WOW!!! My favorite time to see the beaches and the history of Kailua. The tour guide made the time riding on the segway entertaining and educational. It was money well spent. That segway thing is way too cool. Just make sure you have your guide take the govenor off. It's like when you are going around, everyone kinda watches and smiles. I can't wait to go again. What a great way to get to see so much. Call me an eco-tourist; the segway is the ultimate environment friendly transporter. You get to feel a certain freedom riding along at speeds much faster than running. Cruising around one of the most beautiful places on Earth on one of the most intuitive yet exciting transportation devices ever invented. Swimming and relaxing on a #1 beach in the USA. Eating delicious unadulterated Hawaiian food that locals eat. All the while being taken care of by people who go way out of their way to make my adventures as pleasurable as possible. That's my idea of a great vacation!
Get in on the action until they get swamped by hordes of Japanese tourists! In my opinion, Segway of Hawaii is one of the few hidden gems that could be still found on Oahu. Uncrowded, personal, and very pleasant all-around.
Plan to spend at least half a day there, maybe even a whole day. The Kailua area has lots to offer. Beats Waikiki hands down on the "genuine Hawaiian" factor. This is the most awesome thing you have to do while in Hawaii. Spend at least 2 hrs with these guys or you will regret it. Great Tour and Best Value for your money. Thanks Rick for a great time. Located just a block off the beach in quaint Kailua, it's THE PLACE to experience the effortless fun of Segway transportation. Owner Rick McMahon was a caring instructor who made even the most leary and cautious of our group perfectly comfortable aboard her machine. Once we set out from the training area for beachfront sidewalks and walking paths, riding the machines was an invigorating joy. This business understands how to make the customer feel worshiped and capitalizes on a spectacular location. Rick pointed out all the sights, knows his Hawaiian lore, and even took photos with our camera so we could concentrate on riding. Guiding the Segways becomes second nature after just a few minutes aboard. I likened it to Professor Harold Hill's "Think System," though much more successful: You just think about where you want to go and the machine seems to know exactly what to do. Everyone should experience riding a Segway and there is no more beautiful place to do it than along the beach in Kailua. Price is very reasonable for what you get....this will be among your special memories from Hawaii. While in Kailua, also plan for a couple hours on the beach watching the kite boarders and wind surfers do their thing. Surf is gentle and sand is glorious. This is the most awesome thing you have to do while in Hawaii. Spend at least 2 hrs with these guys or you will regret it. Great Tour and Best Value for your money. Thanks Rick for a great time.
